You can reach Introd from some different points:
- Coming from the east (from Piedmont), take the Aosta Ovest-Saint Pierre exit on the highway A5 Torino – Monte Bianco
- Coming from the west (from France) take the Morgex exit on the highway A5 Monte Bianco – Torino
- Coming from the north (from Switzerland, through the Gran San Bernardo Tunnel), proceed on the E27 road as far as Aosta and change there for the highway A5 Aosta – Monte Bianco. Then, take the Aosta – Saint Pierre exit on the highway A5.
From Aosta Ovest – Saint Pierre go further on the national road SS26, leave at the intersection with the regional road SR23 to Introd/Valsavarenche/Val di Rhemes; take the regional road SR23 and follow the signs for Valsavarenche. After around three kilometers, you will reach the area of Introd. Proceed onto the SR up to Località Le Norat.
You can also arrive from Aosta through the so –called ‘envers’ road (SR22) which is very evocative. After passing Gressan – Jovençan – Cogne Valley, you will cross Aymavilles and Villeneuve and you will finally reach Introd.
In Aosta Valley is compulsory to use winter tyres or in alternative to have snow chains onboard from October 15th up to April 15th.
From Introd is easy to reach sport districts, thermal baths, several castles and cultural sites, shops with typical wine and food and handicraft products. In fact Introd is:
30 Km next to Pila sport district – 28 km next to Cogne – 27 km next to Courmayeur – 20 km next to Prè-Saint-Didier thermal baths – 15 km next to Aosta.
