The history of the ‘École des filles’ goes back to 1700. It was in those years, precisely in 1729, that the Archpriest Jean-Baptiste Charles with his will allocated the sum of 306 liras to be dedicated to female education. And so the girls’ school became a reality long before elsewhere and could continue its activity also in the ‘800s and ‘900s thanks to the commitment of other benefactors.
Features of the room:
double-bed room with private bathroom, equipped to host also a person with special mobility needs or in a wheelchair, located at the first floor and served by a lift. Its long balcony makes the room particularly suitable for guests with pets, which are always very welcome at La Pietra Felice as long as they are clean and well-behaved.
